Letterboxd One Million Watched Club

The Letterboxd One Million Watched Club is a featured list on Letterboxd that tracks the growth of the platform by listing all films seen by at least 1 million members. It has been liked over 45,000 times on Letterboxd.

I started the list in early 2021, by now the entire behind-the-scenes work has been automated using Python.

watched.club is a lightweight website that tracks and analyses the Million Watched Clubs on Letterboxd.

Milestones per film, all kinds of records and stats, showdowns between films and how many films on popular lists have reached one million watches.

Uses Astro, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Actions, the TMDb API.

Rated by Critics

Rated by Critics is a small project that regularly fetches and aggregates film ratings from renowned critics and influencers on Letterboxd, inspired by platforms like MetaCritic and Rotten Tomatoes.

Talking Film

Launching sometime in 2026, Talking Film will be a website to help find podcast episodes about specific films.
